Gnimocemoh (“homecoming” spelled backwards) is Marian’s way of celebrating a “backwards” style homecoming in an all-girls school. Students attend a very informal dance where they don wacky attire.

Welcome Dance

The Welcome Dance is held at Marian at the beginning of each school year. Local bands or DJs perform live for the entire student body. This is the first official event of the school year.

Prom is an annual event sponsored by the Junior Class Prom Committee. It is a formal dance for juniors and seniors. Each Prom has a unique theme.

Winter Formal

Winter Formal is held annually around Christmas time and is sponsored by the Student Board. The dance is semi-formal and is open to sophomores, juniors and seniors.
