Did you know many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions made by their employees? Companies of all sizes provide matching gifts to their employees charitable giving. When an employee makes a donation, they can request a matching gift from their employer. The employer then makes their own donation to the nonprofit. Companies usually match donations at a 1:1 ratio, but some will match at a 2:1, 3:1, or even a 4:1 ratio.

Stock Transfer

Making a gift of appreciated stock is one of the most advantageous forms of giving for tax purposes. You can write off the value of the stock as a gift, plus avoid capital gains taxes. Giving Opportunities

The Marian Fund

Marian's annual fund, the Marian Fund, is the largest fundraiser for the school representing 47% of all donated funds. Our founders, the Servants of Mary, wanted Marian to be accessible to every girl. Keeping tuition affordable has been central to the school’s mission for more than 65 years. After tuition, the Marian Fund is the largest fundraiser for the school
representing 47% of all donated funds.

In addition to offering tuition assistance for those needing financial aid, we also recognize families deal with unforeseen
financial hardship. Because of you and your support, we can work with families on an individual basis.

Planned Giving

Planned or deferred gifts are designed to help donors enhance their estate planning, tax planning, investment objectives and retirement needs while help ensure the future growth of Marian. All gifts to Marian enable the school to provide much-needed scholarships and financial aid and to furnish support for faculty enrichment. Scholarships

Creating a named scholarship program provides an opportunity for benefactors to give the gift of a Marian education to future generations. Donors are able to honor and recognize significant individuals, such as alumni, faculty, or family by creating an endowment whose earnings will provide financial aid to Marian students. Volunteer

Gifts of time and talent are an essential service to Marian. There are many ways to volunteer - serve lunch, work the concession stand, serve on a FEST committee and staff the BLUEtique. Click here to learn more about volunteer opportunities at Marian.

Fundraising Events

Fundraising events serve a two-fold benefit of raising funding and building community. The following events aid in funding Marian's outstanding learning environment.

Lexus Champions for Marian

Part of the Lexus Champions for Charity Golf Series. The tournament takes place annually in August. All pro-ceeds support tuition assistance.

Esprit de Corps Giving Day

Brings our community together to celebrate the spirit of Marian and advance our mission for future Marian girls. Giving Day takes place annually in May.

Walk-A-Thon

Marian's only student-facilitated fundraiser. The event encourages the students to be advocates for Marian in helping to fund tuition and scholarships. WAT takes place annually in September.
