Marian has two cheerleading squads that perform at all home volleyball and basketball games, along with Mount Michael football games. The Junior Varsity team supports the JV teams and the Varsity team supports the Varsity teams. The cheer team also has a competition team called, Select. The Select team consists of members of both teams competing at local, state, and national competitions. All the cheerleading teams pledge their time, energy, and efforts to support the athletic programs at Marian. In addition to attending games, the cheerleaders design posters for Marian activities and athletics, fundraise, and volunteer for community events. Tryouts are held each Spring, where any student may tryout, including incoming freshmen.

The cheerleading teams are coached by Head Coach Carter Lamb (clamb@omahamarian.org) and Assistant Coach Gracie Battreall.
