Marian has a Varsity Sideline cheerleading team that performs at all home volleyball and basketball games, along with Mount Michael football games. The cheer team also has a competition team called, Select. The Select team consists of members of the Varsity Sideline Team competing at local, state, and national competitions. All the cheerleading teams pledge their time, energy, and efforts to support the athletic programs at Marian. In addition to attending games, the cheerleaders design posters for Marian activities and athletics, fundraise, and volunteer for community events. Tryouts are held each Spring, where any student may tryout, including incoming freshmen.
