Esprit De Corps Ceremony

There is something special about the Marian experience that goes beyond achievement, leadership and excellence. There is a camaraderie or kinship that exists among its alumnae and friends, regardless of where their life journeys have taken them. “Esprit de Corps,” which means “spirit of the body,” describes this special bond shared by the Marian community—a feeling of pride, fellowship and common loyalty. As such, the Esprit de Corps Awards Ceremony was created to honor those who embody the Marian spirit.

Event Details Coming Soon...

With 2023 nominations completed in September 2023, it is time to think about future Esprit de Corps nominations.

Who is eligible?
Individuals, couples, or families who are affiliated with Marian by sharing their time, treasure and/or talent with the community in some capacity in the last five years.

Who can nominate?
Nominations can be submitted by coworkers, colleagues, supervisors, family, friends, or people can self-nominate. In order to get a thorough nomination, you may gather information from the nominee. Your nomination will be the main source of information, so make sure it is thorough and detailed.

What will the selection committee be scoring on?
Our selection committee will be putting heavy consideration into:

  • Career success – Has this person quickly climbed the ranks or led important initiatives? Did they start and grow a business from the ground up?
  • Leadership – What have they done to stand out from their peers?
  • Career potential – What has this person accomplished to show they are on a path to future success?
  • Community involvement – What community service has this person participated in within Marian and in their community? What have they done to show commitment to the community?
  • Embodies the Marian Identity by demonstrating compassion and concern for others, continued growth in spirituality, has a sense of empowerment that allows for advocating for self and others, utilize talents in service to others, and lastly, fosters a welcoming spirit and engage in community.
