There is nothing to be worried about! I was so scared that being from a public school would set me apart from everyone, but that was not the case at all. Marian is so welcoming no matter who you are or where you come from. Just be open to new ideas and enjoy every second of it.

Marian is even more fun than I imagined. Marian is a supportive community that you enter the second you walk through those front doors. Along side a learning system that pushes students to do their best, Marian provides opportunities to explore the topics you’re interested in. There are also tons of fun events that make the school day all the more better!

I would like my middle school self to know that Marian is a life changing experience and that you learn so much about yourself. Marian allows you to be who you are confidently and freely, and it also pushes you to be the best student you can be!

Marian has provided me so many opportunities to meet and make new friends. I would encourage middle schooler to get involved in clubs and sports. Through these activities, you can make a ton of lifelong friends. Marian also provides me with so many tools that will help me get into the best college I can.

High school, especially an all girl school is not scary. I promise you will make it and enjoy your time here. I am involved in clubs and sports and am doing good in school all at the same time. I have met so many new friends from older and younger grades, and do pretty much everyday. The all girls school vibe is actually nice and there is not a ton of drama here and I can just be myself everyday, all day.

I would like my middle school self to know how nice everyone at Marian is. Going in this school year, I was really concerned that I would feel like an outsider since I was coming from a public school and I didn’t know anyone at Marian - I wish I could go back in time and tell myself that this isn’t true at all and that everyone at Marian is super kind and welcoming.

Don't be so scared of not making friends. Coming to Marian, I left all of my grade school best friends, and I was terrified I wouldn’t be able to make friends. This was not true at all. I quickly found my people, and I have stayed with those friends ever since. Don't stress, because no matter what, you will find your people and have an amazing experience.
