Signature Programs

In addition to our college prep curriculum, Marian students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of signature programs designed to expand and apply knowledge and skills inside and outside the classroom. We currently offer three signature programs: Humanities, STEM, Visual and Fine Arts.

Humanities Scholar

The Humanities Scholar Program is a course of study that students take to focus on intellectually and culturally rigorous classes that will foster a greater appreciation and understanding of the world. Students begin the program in their sophomore year with Introduction to the Humanities. After the introductory course, students will take five humanities electives and a capstone project to fulfill the curricular requirements. Additionally, there are service hours and other extracurricular requirements needed to complete the program.

Students will be assigned a faculty mentor to assist them in meeting all of the requirements. Students who successfully complete the program will earn a special notation on their diploma.
