Lori Spanbauer has been a member of the Theology department at Marian High School since 2008. She also worked in Campus Ministry for five years before teaching full-time. She has worked extensively with youth and young adults in both ministry settings and social service organizations, including Covenant House, Creighton University and the Archdiocese of Omaha.
Lori has written many books, articles and ministry publications on ministry with youth and young adults, has presented at conferences throughout the country, and was the former President of the National Catholic Young Adult Ministry Association (NCYAMA).
Spanbauer serves as an adjunct faculty member at the Center for Ministry Development, a national training organization. She has a bachelor’s degree in Social Work and Sociology from Illinois State University and Master’s degrees from the University of Illinois and the College of Saint Mary.
