Six Crusader Athletes Sign Letters of Intent

Marian is proud to announce that six student-athletes signed letters of intent to continue their athletic pursuits at the university level. While they have displayed stellar performances on the mat and field, their time spent in the classroom and community is just as impressive.

Anna Bragg will be playing soccer at Creighton University, where she plans to study business. Anna’s athletic accolades include:

  • 2023 Metro Conference second team
  • 2023 State Class A second team
  • 2022 Nebraska Class A semifinalist
  • 2022 State Class A honorable mention

Anna is a member of the National Honor Society and participates in Operation Others. 

Jane Kidder will be playing soccer at Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota, where she plans to study business and psychology. Jane has played varsity soccer for four years at Marian. In addition she participates in Operation Others, World Language Club, CEO group and Crusaders Elevating Others.

Eva Kreiner will be wrestling at the University of Wisconsin-Osh Gosh and plans to study sports medicine and kinesiology. A member of Marian’s inaugural wrestling team, which launched in 2021, Eva has helped blaze a trail. She is team captain, has earned a varsity letter, holds five school wrestling records and holds the current school deadlift record at 365 lbs. She participated in USA Nationals Preseason Nationals in fall 2023.

Off the mat, Eva is a member of the yearbook staff, BURN Magazine staff/senior editor. band, Student Union Co-Leader and Trap Shooting team.

Bridget McGill will be running cross country at Regis University in Denver, where she plans to study visual arts and exercise science. Bridget is a five-time varsity letter winner and has completed three marathons. In addition, she participates in Model UN, Vegetarian Club, co-founder, and National Honors Society, secretary. She also serves as a volunteer at Hot Shops Art Center.

Catherine Slattery will be running cross country and track at Regis University in Denver, where she plans to study nursing. Caitie’s athletic accomplishments include:

  • Three-sport athlete freshman year
  • Most improved athlete for track sophomore year
  • Most valuable athlete for track junior year
  • Varsity letters in cross country and track

She is also a member of the National Honor Society and participates in Operation Others and Sol Sisters. She is a volunteer at Methodist Hospital and Completely Kids.

Riley Washington will be playing soccer at Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs, where she will be studying exercise science. A four-year member of the varsity soccer team, Riley is also involved in Young Medicine Club, FBLA and Operation Others.
