Three Marian seniors proudly represented Marian at the 2026 Jabberwock Pageant hosted by Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, earning top honors through their talent, scholarship and dedication.

The Jabberwock is a signature fundraising and scholarship program sponsored by Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. Inspired by the whimsical poem “Jabberwocky” from Through the Looking-Glass by Lewis Carroll, the tradition celebrates imagination, achievement and community while raising funds for scholarships and public service programs. For decades, the pageant has served as a meaningful opportunity for young women to showcase their talents, leadership, and academic excellence while building confidence and lifelong connections.

Among this year’s standout participants were Marian seniors Kennedy Grace and Majie Winfrey, who both earned impressive recognition throughout the evening. Kennedy Grace won the talent category and was named second runner-up for the Mrs. Jabberwock title. Majie Winfrey received the Jewel B. Roberts Scholarship, earned the title of Mrs. Academia and was named second runner-up in the talent portion of the competition.

Their accomplishments reflect not only their individual talents, but also the countless hours of preparation and perseverance they brought to the stage. Through this experience, these students embodied the spirit of the Jabberwock tradition by using their gifts to inspire others and celebrate academic and personal achievement.

We are incredibly proud of these young women for the hard work and dedication they poured into this experience while representing Marian in the best way!
