For decades, Marian girls have been making an impact in the world. From leaders in the boardroom to their communities, Marian girls are leaving a profound impact. For our alumnae, the opportunities they had at Marian were transformative.

With Marian giving them the tools and skills to be confident, independent, thinking leaders, inspired by faith. We sat down with four Marian alumnae to discuss how Marian has impacted them this year.

 Rita Tworek Berthelsen ‘70

“It gave me the strength to solve problems, the compassion to understand where people are coming from, the integrity to do what is right because it is right, and the joy to celebrate with people because they tried.”

Katie Kelsey Becker '03

Katie says her time on the Marian Swim Team, in student government, and even her Field Day experience as a Junior’Roo helped shape her as a leader. “Marian is a place where girls can explore who they want to be,” she says.

Ellie Royal '24

“When I tell people I went to an all-girls school, they’re surprised, but I truly believe that’s what made me who I am. The community and sisterhood are unmatched.” Marian’s supportive community and college-prep curriculum gave her the confidence to thrive in college and beyond.

Tiffany Hays Regan '94

For Tiffany Hays Regan '94, the Marian legacy is something she is proud to be a part of. With all three of her sisters attending Marian, as well as her three daughters.

“Our mother used to say, ‘If you don't pay for it now, you pay for it later.’ It was important for her to send my sisters and I to Marian, and the same is now true for me. My husband Kevin and I know at Marian, our girls are going to be well prepared for college and their future.”

For generations, Marian has been giving girls the confidence to succeed and thrive in whatever their next chapter is behind Marian’s halls. As 2025 draws near, you can help support the Marian girls of today.

The Marian Fund is the cornerstone that sustains our mission year after year. Your support bridges the gap between tuition and the true cost of a Marian education, ensuring that leadership remains accessible to every young woman who walks through our doors.

Give today and empower the next generation of confident, compassionate leaders. 💙
