Several Marian students have been recognized by the Nebraska Department of Education for their outstanding achievement in world language studies, earning both the Distinguished World Language Scholar – High Honors designation and World Language Spotlight Awards.
The Distinguished World Language Scholar Award was created by the Nebraska Department of Education to honor students who demonstrate excellence in language learning through leadership, a strong commitment to continued study, an appreciation for cultural diversity and advanced communication skills.
Marian students receiving the Distinguished World Language Scholar – High Honors recognition include:

In addition, four students were selected for the World Language Spotlight Award, which highlights exceptional examples of student work from classrooms across Nebraska. These projects showcase creativity, cultural understanding and language proficiency.
