Swimming & Diving
Swimming and Diving are winter sports at Marian. The Marian swimming team practices every afternoon and two mornings a week at the University of Nebraska-Omaha. Marian's Swim Team has earned 12 state titles and 5 runners up. Click here to view Marian's Swimming Site.

In the News...
Elyse Brouillette Signs with Iowa State University
Elyse Brouillette, daughter of Marty and Melanie Brouillete, signed to dive for Iowa State University on November 9, 2011. Elyse was a 2010-2011 state qualifer and placed in the top 6 at the state meet. She was named All American at AAU Nationals and placed 2nd on platform. Additionally, she placed in the top 15 at USA Nationals on platform and 3 meter springboard.

Swimming and Service
Marian swimmers spent Saturday, August 27, volunteering at the Munroe-Meyer Institute Big Splash fundraiser. The Munroe-Meyer Institute, which is part of the University of Nebraska Medical Center, provides clinical services for thousands of individuals with disabilities and conducts research into new therapies. The Big Splash brought developmentally disabled swimmers together with those without disabilities. They swam for fun and swam in competition. Marian's 2010-2011 swim team, along with new freshman swimmers got in the water to help with fun relays, assist those in need, and cheer them on.
