Basketball
Basketball is a winter sport at Marian.  There are four teams for students:  freshman, reserve, junior varsity and varsity.  Basketball tryouts are held in the fall. Marian's varsity team has earned 3 state championships and 8 runners up.

Congratulations to the 2009-2010 Varsity Basketball Team , who finished the season 18-5, ranked seventh in the state.
 
Summer Open Gym
The following dates and times are basketball open gyms for registered 9th-12th graders:

June 1, 3, 24, 29 from 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
June 15 and 17 from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
July 1, 8, 13 from 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 am

    • Highest rebound average in one season: 13.9
    • Career rebounds: 845

  • Senior Vicky McIntyre is a recipient of the Winter Season Scholar Athletes Award sponsored by Regal Awards and Omaha Marriott Hotel.
