What is the Annual Fund?
Marian's Annual Fund is just that - an fund that occurs annually and provides the necessary monies to ensure that Marian remains the premier all-girl Catholic high school in Omaha. The Annual Fund Drive is the single most important fundraising effort conducted at Marian each year. The funds rasied through this drive make up nearly 50% of Marian's operating budget.
Your Gift to Marian’s Annual Fund Drive:

provides tuition assistance to more than 48% of Marian’s students and increases scholarship support for future students, ensuring that Marian remains available to any girl regardless of her socioeconomic status.

helps fund nationally recognized academic programs - securing Marian’s position as Nebraska’s leading educator of young women.

supports Campus Ministry efforts at local service sites, teaching students the significance of giving their time and talents to help those in need.

provides leading-edge technology upgrades, including digital cameras and state-of-the art laptops and computers, keeping our students ahead of the learning curve.

allows Marian students to travel on school-sponsored trips, bringing what the students have learned in the classroom to life.

supplies band instruments, choral compositions, art supplies and a new dance floor for Marian’s fine arts program, which not only develops critical thinking skills but also positive self-esteem.

supports our teachers participation in state and national conferences, helping them to effectively engage students’ minds in unique and creative ways.
PARTCIPATION IN THE ANNUAL FUND
Why is participation so important?
Participation is fundamental in ensuring a solid financial future for Marian High School. A high percentage of giving by those closest to the school—the parents, alumnae, grandparents, parents of alumnae, faculty and staff—demonstrates the importance of philanthropy at Marian. Also, strong participation of the Annual Fund often positively influences contributions from foundations and corporations.

In keeping with the Servants of Mary tradition, Marian has established levels of support dedicated to eight women of the Church who devoted their lives to their faith, the betterment of their communities and improving the lives of others.

The gift YOU make to the Annual Fund will bridge the gap between the cost of a Marian education and the cost of tuition. In addition, your gift allows Marian to provide tuition assistance to nearly 50% of our studetn body, totaling over $500,000 annually.
