Swimming and Diving State Runner-Ups
Congratulations to Marian's Swimming and Diving Team and Coach Dave Anderson for earning the runner-up title at the 2010 Nebraska State Swimming and Diving Meet! Click here to see how our swimmers placed!
 
National Qualifying Speech Tournament
Congratulations to junior Molly Misek who placed second in Oratory at the National Qualifying Speech Tournament this past weekend! This standing has qualified her for the Grand Tournament sponsored by the National Forensic League that will be held June 13-18th.
 
Congressional High School Art Competition 2010
Congratulations to senior Maggie Hinrichs and junior Allison Dethlefs who were awarded third and fourth place respectively from the Congressional High School Art Competition for Nebraska's second district sponsored by the Congressional Art Caucus Competition. 

 
NEHS Induction Ceremony

On February 24, 27 juniors were inducted into the National English Honor Society (NEHS), which recognizes on the national level accomplishments in English studies and encourages members to use their talents in the service of others. Click here for the complete story.
 
Instrumental Music Awards
Three Marian students participated in the Elkhorn Solo/Ensemble Music Competition held February 20. Kelsey Genoways ‘12 scored an excellent rating on a trumpet solo. Christina Reyelts ‘12 scored a superior rating on an alto saxophone solo. Emily McCusker ‘13 scored a superior rating and took home the 4th place medal on a clarinet solo. Congratulations, girls!

Summer Camp Information

Parent Meeting about Spring Athletics
A mandatory meeting for parents of girls involved in spring sports (soccer, tennis and track) is Thursday, March 18, at 7:00 p.m. in the east gym. At least one parent must attend this meeting, where important athletic policies and procedures will be discussed.  Please direct any questions to Melissa Brusnahan at 934-1204.
