Marian's Volunteer Program
The purpose of Marian’s Volunteer Program is to engage parents, families, alums and friends of Marian High School to share their time, talents and treasure to advance the Servite tradition and encompass the charism of the order of the Servants of Mary: devotion to Mary, compassion, service and community. All of these opportunities listed below come to fruition with the help of our volunteers. You are our Most Valuable People and your dedication and involvement keep Marian on top, turning our young women into confident, independent thinking leaders. You are appreciated!

Faces of Marian - 8-11-12
Assist with incoming freshman or transfer parent/daughter orientation. Meet, greet and staff hospitality table and get donuts for breakfast. Report to Michelle Delisi.

Habitat for Humanity Father - Daughter Fall Build - 9/8, 15, 29 and 10/6/12
There will be multiple build sites with each site accommodating 10 volunteers (volunteers must be 16 years of age to work on a build site). The actual work sites and building activity that will be performed during the above dates will be determined.

Walk-A-Thon - 9-21-12
15-20 volunteers needed to monitor the girls along the Keystone trail during Friday September 23rd's annual Walk-a-Thon. You will be positioned throughout the course of the trail making sure that the girls are on track, encouraged, and safe.

A traditional Marian mother/daughter event. Responsibilities include: planning, set-up and clean-up.

Welcome Calls - Early Spring
Each incoming freshman family is called to welcome them to the Marian family. Responsibilities include: organize a committee to make welcome calls to incoming freshman/new families of Marian.

Senior Honors Day - 5-14-2013
Arrange for and present each graduating senior with a flower on the morning of the Honors Assembly.

Salad Lunches
The famous and ever popular salad lunches are the highlight of many Marian girls’ week. Volunteers are needed for baking and working this twice monthly event, please see the top of this form for a link to sign up for Salad Lunches.

Collecting items to provide personalized gift bags for the staff. This is done in conjunction with Breakfast of Gratitude for staff.
