Walk-A-Thon is the only student facilitated fundraiser at Marian. Each September, classes compete against one another to raise the most money. Goals are determined by the number of students in each class. The student body then runs/walks a 10 kilometers course through the heart of the Keystone neighborhood, fulfilling their pledges. This event not only benefits the school and the growing costs of education, but serves as a memorable Marian tradition filled with class bonding.
2011-2012 Results:
1st-JUNIORS (with 165% of goal)
2nd-Seniors (with 142% of goal)
3rd-Freshmen (with 109% of goal)
4th-Sophomores (with 92% of goal)
Our school goal was $80,000 and we brought in just over $100,000!
That's 125% of our school goal!
