Walk-A-Thon is the only student facilitated fundraiser at Marian. Each September, classes compete against one another to raise the most money. Goals are determined by the number of students in each class. The student body then runs/walks to fulfill their pledges. This event not only benefits the school and the growing costs of education, but serves as a memorable Marian tradition filled with class bonding.
2012-2013 Results:
1st-Sophmores (with 202% of goal)
2nd-Seniors (with 169% of goal)
3rd-Juniors (with 141% of goal)
4th-Freshmen (with 103% of goal)
We brought in over $133,500!
That's 157% of our school goal!
