Class of 2010 Pledges to Annual Fund
Marian's most recent graduates, the Class of 2010, presented Head of School Susan Toohey with a $6,300 check, which represented a four-year, $50 dollar pledge to Marian's Annual Fund.
In 2007, Marian's Advancement Program began teaching the senior class about women in philanthropy and the importance of financially supporting organizations that you care about and that you want to see advance their mission and vision.
The Class of 2007 took this lesson to heart and collected four-year, $50 pledges--$5 the first year of college, $10 the second, $15 the third and $20 the fourth--from more than 83% of its members. This Senior Class Pledge has now become a tradition.
The Class of 2010 collected pledges from 93% of its members, making this the highest class participation yet.

Both the fall and winter Phone-A-Thons have come to a close, and with that we have raised an additional $100,000 for the Annual Fund. a heartfelt thank you to all alums who gave generously of their time, talent and treasure to make this year's Annual Fund another success. A special thank you to our Era Chairs, who recruited callers for the Phone-A-Thons. Your hard work did not go unnoticed.
